Oskar drew this map while attending our Zoom workshop hosted by the Glasgow Zine Library. In it, he documents a trip to the airport he and his sister took earlier that day. After a six-month lockdown in Germany, his sister was finally returning to her university courses in Norway. He shows us their route from […]
Gregory’s annotated map documents a multi-day hike along the extended Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in October 1986. Campsites, passes, and Inca ruins are noted alongside candid dispatches from the trail — altitude sickness, a companion nicknamed Flounder getting lost, and a drawing session at the ruins of Winay Wana cut short by a caretaker’s […]

This is a map I drew in 2010 while searching for some Philly artists to include in our map exhibition at Arcadia University. I hadn’t lived in the city too long at that point, so I drew maps like these to help me remember the layout of streets – indicating things I knew like the […]
Don drew this map to document a trip to Manhattan. He often draws maps like this in his Moleskin, adding to them throughout the day. Details worth noting include Don’s representation of himself as a stick figure with glasses, the historical act of returning a Netflix DVD by mail, and the gestural rendering of the […]
